This experiment has nothing to do with food or diet, but is an experiment of children’s rational analysis skills and cognitive development.

Many of you have probably seen this video, and those who haven’t should take a look. The video is quite humorous; but more seriously, the child cognition studies surrounding this experiment are certainly something to think about.

This University of Rochester article suggests that the inability to delay gratification could be linked to the child’s beliefs about environmental stability.
